Meet Your Care Managers

Nancy Driskill, RN, MS, CMC

Nancy has lived and worked in Fort Collins for 40 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. She has also earned a Certificate in Mediation from Denver University College. Nancy has been an adjunct faculty member at Colorado State University and Front Range Community College, and is a frequently requested speaker and group leader.
Nancy worked in nursing leadership positions from 1970-1980 in a long term care facility. She obtained her graduate education, and worked another 10 years as executive director for an affordable housing non-profit and as the administrator for a regional home health care agency. These experiences motivated her to establish her own geriatric care management business and that dream came to fruition in 1995. Fifteen years later, Consultants for Aging Families continues to grow and serve most of Larimer and Weld Counties. Nancy has extensive knowledge of long-term care, health care, housing options and family dynamics. She is passionate about accessible quality health care and services for elders and their families.

Peggy Whitt, RN

Peggy Whitt has been a practicing nurse for 33 years and a Geriatric Care Manager since 2001. After retiring from Emergency Room work 11 years ago, Peggy relocated to the Loveland area. Peggy was first introduced to geriatric care management while helping with the long distance care coordination for her aging parents. Peggy welcomed the potential opportunity always present in a challenge and began to work more with seniors. It wasn’t long before she discovered this work was both fulfilling and fun. In 2003, Nancy Driskill recognized Peggy’s intense interest in learning about advocating for elders while incorporating her nursing experiences and people skills. She nurtured Peggy’s interests into a passion, welcoming her into her practice in 2007.
Communication, problem solving and finding creative solutions are her talents, while empathetic listening and thinking ‘outside the box’ are her gifts. Peggy has many other interests including volunteering as a Master Gardner in Larimer County, practicing ‘gentle’ sports like swimming, Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga and reveling in the beauty of Colorado on her recumbent bicycle.
